Semaphore Display have been a leading manufacturer of high quality signage solutions for over 34 years. A new exciting position is now available for an experienced sign fitter to join our dynamic team.

Semaphore offer clients the complete design, manufacture and installation service, and we pride ourselves on quality and service. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team and will require excellent communication skills. Having a positive enthusiastic “can do” attitude is a must.

Having a minimum of 2 years experience in the production and installation of all types of signs, vinyls and exhibition graphics is paramount, you will be working with a variety of substrates and will require experience in operating plotters, large format printers, flatbeds and laminating equipment.

You will be required to hold a current UK drivers licence, CSCS & PASMA, IPAF industry qualifications will be desirable. Having a good knowledge of Health & Safety practises and understand the importance of the safe handling of materials will be important in this role.

Excellent rates of pay, contribution company pension and bonus available.

Senior Estimator/Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced and determined individual to join our team who has a passion to deliver the highest level of customer service. Although not essential if the applicant has any transferable sales/accounts this would be an advantage and reflected in the salary offered.

The candidate must be highly motivated and able to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment.

The Experience

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an estimator/account executive or similar within the print or signage industry is required. You also must have excellent communication and customer service skills and have experience working with print or signage MIS systems. Being organised, great time management skills and be a logical thinker is ideal for this role.

The Role

This position will include the following duties & responsibilities:

  • Maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Estimating production costs & confirming quotations direct to clients
  • Liaising with internal production departments to ensure client deadlines are met
  • Generating new leads and converting them into sales
  • Manage tenders to meet strict deadlines
  • Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered
  • Producing estimates and winning orders
  • Overseeing print projects to ensure quality and that deadlines are met
  • Sourcing and procurement of external products
  • Developing both new and existing accounts
  • Managing sub contractors & suppliers where necessary

PC Hiring Graphic_Signfitter

As part of the Print Centre Group, Semaphore are looking for a full time skilled Sign fitter to work in our busy signage department. The main duties of the post include the preparation and application of vinyl cut graphics for vehicles and signage. Installation experience is  a must, which includes the fitting of full-colour vinyl, especially fitting vehicle wraps which Semaphore produces in-house. Experience in on site fitting and sign preparation is required.

Qualifications and Skills

We require someone who pays attention to detail and the ability to follow a given brief. You must be customer and quality orientated, self motivated, organised and confident. Your skills will include the ability to work to deadlines as part of a team or on your own, and have a flexible approach in problem solving. The job involves manual labour and some working at height.

Digital Print Store Manager Vacancy

The Print Centre Group is an established digital print company with branches throughout South Wales with clients ranging from public, private sector organisations.

We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Print Manager for our Porthcawl branch who has previous experience, knowledge and skills within a print production, photography and retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the “front of house” retail department which includes dealing with client direct sales requests right through to print production. Identifying sales opportunities and having great upselling skills are key to this role.

Having the ability to work under pressure in this fast paced environment and having a positive “can-do” approach is a given. Duties will also include end of day cash reconciliation. Quality control and the maintenance of the shop floor equipment will also be important to your duties.

The suitable candidate will be expected to control this department to fully ensure the high levels of customer service are maintained thus having a good standard in excel, word, powerpoint and creative suites will be required.

This is a full time position over 5 days Monday – Friday 8:45 – 5:45 which includes Saturdays.

Salary offered will depend on previous experience demonstrated.

Duties will also include end of day cash reconciliation/ staff management and delegation. Quality control and the maintenance of the shop floor equipment will also be important to your duties.

The suitable candidate will be expected to control this department to fully ensure the high levels of customer service are maintained thus having a good standard in excel, word, powerpoint and creative suites will be required.

This is a full time position Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:30 with Saturdays 10-2pm on a rota system.

Salary offered will depend on previous experience demonstrated.
